We are days away from the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games. Last weekend race management volunteers and other members of the Philippine Sailing Association came together at the Subic Bay Yacht Club and discuss the technical aspects of the races headed by Jerry Rollins, Philippine Sailing Association Secretary General and SEA Games Sailing Competition Manager. They also conducted on-the-water training to test all the equipment that will be used for the competition as well as procedures on how to run the courses for both the sailing and windsurfing matches.
However for our athletes, they have been training since early this year. The Sailing and Windsurfing Competition will be composed of the following matches:
Optimist (U16) (male/female)
Laser Standard (male only)
Laser Radial (female only)
International 420 (U19) (male/female)
International 470 (male only)
Match Racing Keelboat in FE 28R
Fleet Racing Keelboat in FE 28R
Windsurfing RS:X 9.5m2 (male only)
